Without a great headline, even the best content may go unnoticed. But creating a catchy headline that grabs attention and summarizes your article in a few words can be challenging. Every word counts, and crafting the perfect headline can be stressful.
That’s where our AI-powered headline generator comes in. With this feature, you can create 5 optimized headlines for your article with just a couple of clicks, saving you time and effort while ensuring your content gets the attention it deserves.
Enabling the AI Headline Feature
Before you can start generating AI headlines, you’ll need to enable the feature in your Newsifier settings:
Navigate to Settings > General > AI.
Scroll down to the Generate Headlines with AI section and toggle it ON.
Once the feature is enabled, you're ready to start generating headlines for your articles.
Customizing the AI Headline Prompt
The AI headline generator uses a predefined prompt to generate relevant and engaging titles. While you have the option to customize this prompt, we recommend using the default unless you’re experienced with creating AI prompts.
Default Prompt: “Write 5 attractive and exciting headlines for the article below, ensuring they are in the same language as the article.”
If you customize the prompt and don’t get the results you expected, you can always revert to the default prompt.
How to Generate Headlines for Your Articles
Once the AI headline feature is enabled, you can start generating headlines directly from the article editor. Here’s how:
Write at least 100 words in the article editor to activate the headline generator.
After writing your content, go to the Title field and click the Generate Headlines button located to the right.
A pop-up will appear where you can customize the type of headlines you want:
Set a character limit for the headline.
Include or exclude specific words (type the word and press ENTER).
Choose to generate a question or a headline with a quote.
Once you’ve customized your settings, click Generate Headlines and let AI do the rest.
Reviewing and Selecting Headlines
After generating the headlines, you will see 5 options displayed in the article editor :
Select a Headline: Click on Select to instantly use one of the generated headlines as your article’s title.
Copy or Hide Results: You can also copy the headlines for later use or hide the results if you’re not ready to pick one yet.
Pro Tip: To find out which headline performs best, consider using A/B testing to determine which option drives the most clicks.
Important Notes on AI Headline Limitations
There is a character limit for the combined length of the input and output processed by the AI model. This is a limitation of the external AI model we use, and it affects not only the headline generator but all our AI features. Here’s what you need to know:
The combined length of your input (article content) and output (generated headlines) must be under 32,000 characters.
If your input exceeds this limit, the AI feature won’t be able to generate headlines.
If the input and output together go beyond the character limit, only a partial output will be generated, and some headlines may be incomplete.
