Introduction
AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) is a framework developed by Google to create fast-loading, lightweight mobile web pages. The purpose of AMP is to improve the user experience on mobile devices by reducing load times and simplifying the layout of web pages. AMP pages are simplified versions of your website’s articles that adhere to specific coding standards, ensuring faster delivery and better performance, especially for mobile users.
📌Note: AMP is only available in Newsifier Version 1. Newsifier Version 2 does not support AMP.
How to Disable AMP Pages in Newsifier Version 1
If your website is on Newsifier Version 1 and you want to stop using AMP pages, follow these steps:
Under Settings, click on the Layout tab.
Scroll down until you find the section labeled Start Date Use of AMP.
To disable AMP pages, set the Start Date Use of AMP to a future year. For example, if it’s currently 2025, you can set the date to 2030. By doing this, the system will interpret the AMP functionality as inactive for the current date, effectively stopping the generation of AMP pages.
