Adding a Live Blog to Your Article
To add a Live Blog to an article, follow these steps:
Add the Liveblog widget to Article Content:
Select the "Live Blog" Article Type
In the right-hand panel, set the Article Type to Live Blog.
This enables all live blog features and ensures the article is recognized as a live blog on your site and in search engines.
Click Publish / Save Draft to apply the changes.
Access the Live Blog Management Page:
After saving, navigate to the Type field within the article editor.
Click on the provided link to access the Live Blog Management Page, where you can add and manage updates.
Managing Live Blog Content
Once the Live Blog is active, you can add updates to it:
Add a Title and Content:
On the left side of the Live Blog management page, enter a title for the Live Blog.
In the editor, add the content. You can format it using text, images, headings, quotes, tables, lists, HTML code, and embeds.
Pinning Updates to the Top:
If a specific update needs to remain visible at the top of the list, check the Pin to Top option.
Save the blog entry, and it will be highlighted at the top of the Live Blog.
Publishing Updates:
Updates will appear instantly on the article’s front end.
New updates are briefly highlighted in yellow to notify users of fresh content.
Editing and Managing Live Blog Entries
You can view all added blocks on the right-hand side of the Live Blog management page.
Updates can be edited or deleted at any time.
The system supports unlimited updates, allowing you to add as many as needed.
Pagination and User Experience
The Live Blog will display 10 updates per page on the front end.
A 'Load More' button allows users to view additional updates without leaving the page.
