How to Request and Launch a Mobile App for Your Newsifier Website

Introduction

Do you want your website content to be accessible through a mobile app on the Apple App Store and Google Play? Newsifier can help you set up and publish your own branded app. This guide walks you through every step.

Step 1: Contact Newsifier Support

To begin the app creation process:

  1. Contact Newsifier Support via [email protected].

  2. Ask them to send you the Mobile App Request Form.

Step 2: Fill Out the App Information Form

In the form, you’ll be asked to provide details such as:

  • App name

  • Short and long descriptions

  • App icon (typically 1024 × 1024 px)

  • Color scheme (e.g., HEX code for buttons or headers)

  • Keywords and categories

  • Store publisher details

💡 Each field in the form includes clear instructions to guide you through what to enter and what file types or sizes are required.

Step 3: Choose a Developer Account Option

You have two options for publishing your app:

Option A: Use Newsifier’s Developer Account

No action needed — Newsifier will handle the publishing.

Option B: Use Your Own Developer Accounts

If you want to publish the app under your own brand:

Apple Developer Account:

  • Check your account type:

    • Sign in to Apple Developer

    • Look under Membership Information:

      • If it says “Individual”, it is a personal account.

      • If it says “Organization”, it’s a business account.

  • If your account type is Company/Organization, invite [email protected] as an Admin:

    1. Sign in and click Users and Access

    2. Click + to invite a new user

    3. Enter [email protected], assign Admin role, and save.


  • If your account is an Individual type, Apple does not support team invites.
    In that case, send your Apple Developer login credentials securely to Newsifier.

Google Play Developer Account:

  1. Go to Users & Permissions

  2. Click Invite New User

  3. Assign the Admin role and send the invite

Step 4: Newsifier Builds and Sends You a Test Version

Once you submit the form:

  • Newsifier prepares a test version in 2–3 days (if no migration is pending).

  • You’ll receive a streaming version of the app to preview.

💡 Note: If your site is still being migrated to Newsifier. We will wait until migration is complete before proceeding with the app.

Step 5: Confirm and Approve the App

Review the test version on your device.

  • If everything looks correct, confirm with the Newsifier team.

  • If changes are needed, request them before the app is submitted to the store.

Step 6: App Submission to the Stores

Once approved:

  • Newsifier submits your app to the Apple App Store and Google Play.

  • This submission takes 2–3 days from confirmation.

⏱️ Review times (after submission):

  • Apple and Google normally take 24–48 hours to review your app.

  • If the app is rejected, Newsifier will fix the issue and resubmit — this may add extra time.

  • Once the app is approved by Apple and Google, Newsifier will send you the direct download links to your app in both the App Store and Google Play.
