Introduction

If you have a mobile app available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, Newsifier can automatically display download badges in your website footer.

These badges allow visitors to quickly access and download your app directly from your website.

πŸ‘‰ The badges will only appear once your app IDs are correctly added to your Newsifier setup.

If you don’t see the icons in your footer, follow the steps below.

What You Need Before Getting Started

To enable the app badges, you will need:

  • Your Apple App ID

  • Your Google Play package name

These can be found in your app store URLs.

How to Find Your App IDs

Apple App Store

  1. Open your app page on the Apple App Store

  2. Check the URL, which will look like this:

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/app-name/id477713400
  3. The number after /id is your Apple App ID

βœ… Example: 477713400

Google Play Store

  1. Open your app page on the Google Play Store

  2. Check the URL, which will look like this:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=foot.reef.foot01
  3. The value after ?id= is your package name

βœ… Example: foot.reef.foot01

Add Your App IDs to Newsifier

Once you have both IDs:

  1. Send your Apple App ID and Google Play package name to the Newsifier support team

  2. Our team will add them to your system configuration

  3. The download badges will automatically appear in your website footer

Troubleshooting

If the badges are not showing:

  • Make sure the IDs you provided are correct

  • Ensure your app is publicly available in the stores

  • Contact support if the issue persists
