Introduction

Structured data helps Google understand your website better. It tells Google who you are (your brand), who wrote your articles, what your website is about, and how content on your site is organized.

The good news: Newsifier automatically generates all required structured data for you.
All you need to do is fill in a few fields in your admin panel so Google receives complete and accurate information.

This improves how your brand is represented in Google Search and supports features like Google Discover’s “Follow” option (when available).

Below you'll find a simple step-by-step guide.

1. Fill in Your Website Details

Log in to your Newsifier admin panel and click General Settings in the left-hand menu. Under the Start tab, you will find:

  • Homepage Title
This appears in the browser tab and in Google Search.
Write a short, clear title with your brand name.
    Example:
“Newsifier – Smart Tools for Digital Publishers”

  • Homepage Meta Description
This short description appears under your title in Google Search.
Write a simple summary of what your website offers.
    Example:
“Newsifier helps publishers grow with fast hosting, smart tools and real-time analytics.”

These fields help search engines understand what your site is about.

2. Add Your Organization Information

Still in General Settings, go to the Other tab and scroll to Organization Information.

Fill in:

  • Organization name

  • Contact email

  • Street + number

  • Postal code

  • City

  • Country

This information helps Google understand your brand and display it correctly in search results.
(Adding this does not automatically create a Google Profile, but it increases your overall clarity for Google.)

3. Use Categories and Tags for Better Content Structure

Every article should be assigned to:

  • A Category
This tells Google the general topic (e.g., Sports, Technology, Politics).
Categories are automatically added to your structured data.

  • Tags
These help organize related articles on your website and improve internal linking.
    Example tags: “iPhone”, “Apple”, “Smartphones”

Tags are not keywords for SEO, but they help Google understand how your content fits together.

4. Fill in Author Information

Go to Authors in the left menu and open the author you want to edit.

Add:

  • Author name

  • Job title

  • Short bio

This information is included in your structured data and helps Google understand who is responsible for your articles.

5. Add Your Social Media Profiles

In General Settings, open the Social Share tab and enter the URLs for your social media pages:

  • Facebook

  • X (Twitter)

  • Instagram

  • YouTube

These links appear in your structured data under the “sameAs” field.
This helps Google confirm your official profiles and strengthens your brand identity.

You do not need to add any schema manually.
